Randy Stonehill
AUCTION
Welcome To The Third Randy Stonehill On-Line Auction!
Over the past couple of years that this site has been in existance, I've received many e-mail messages from Stonehill fans asking how they might locate some of Randy's older recordings. I always try to point them in the right direction, but unfortunately, many of Randy's older albums are becoming harder and harder to come by. In fact, all of Randy's work except for his last two albums are currently out-of-print. It turns out that I've managed to come up with at least one extra copy of each of Randy's out-of-print full-length official recordings in one format or another. Some items are brand new and are still in their original shrink wrap. The majority of the items are used, and some are in better condition than others. Be sure to note the condition of each item, and bid accordingly. Since several people have contacted me regarding the same albums, I thought that an auction might be a fair and fun way to approach it. I've also expanded the auction concept this time around and included a number of fun collectibles such as posters, test pressings, promotional singles, etc. There is also a special section for albums by other artists and compilations that Randy has contributed to. At any rate, I hope you have fun and are able to get a good deal on some great music! Feel free to email me with any questions you might have. Enjoy!!

TERMS
BIDDING BEGINS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST, 1999
ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 11:59:59 PM (PDT)
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1999

All Bids Are In US Dollars.
BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS
You will first encounter a listing of all the items that are available for bidding, divided into sections for Vinyl Records, Cassette Tapes, Compact Discs, Singles, Appearances, Compilations & Miscellaneous Items. Next to each title, you will see the current bid value and the initials of the current bidder. If you see an item in which you are interested in bidding, click on the title for more detailed information including condition, song listings and full color scans of the item.

Before bidding, be sure to note the value under the "Current Bid" heading. Any bids lower than this specified amount will not be tallied. If someone has already bid on the item you are interested in, their initials will be listed in the "Current High Bidder" column. If you would like to bid on an item, you may do so as follows:

1. Determine the maximum amount that you are willing to bid for the item.
2. Type your full name, e-mail address and your maximum bid in the appropriate text fields, and press the "Submit Bid" button.

NOTE: Your maximum bid and email address will not be revealed to any other bidders, and only your intitials will be displayed for public viewing.

If necessary, bids will be automatically made on your behalf as other bidders increase the bid price, up to your maximum amount or the necessary preset bid increment to outbid other bidders.

The preset bid increments are as follows:
For items with a current bid under $10, bids will be incremented by $.25 above the previous bidder's maximum bid.
For items with a current bid under $20, bids will be incremented by $.50.
For items with a current bid over $20, bids will be incremented by $1.00.
For items with a current bid over $100, bids will be incremented by $2.00.

In the case of a tie for the highest bid, the earlier bid takes precedence.

If you fail to bid high enough to outbid the previous bidder, you will see a message to that effect stating the new current bid value. You may then return to the auction and place another bid if you so desire.

On the other hand, if your bid exceeds that of the previous bidder, you will see a message stating the new current bid (the previous bidder's value plus the bid increment value) and your maximum bid. An email message confirming your bid will also be emailed to you.

In the event that you are outbid by another bidder as the auction progresses, you will receive a message via email informing you of the new current bid value. You may then go back and place another bid if you wish.

Note: For a few of the rarer items, a hidden reserve price has been set.
In order to win these auctions, the high bidder must meet or exceed this reserve price in addition to holding the highest bid value. If the reserve price is not met, neither ¡Niƒty Music! nor the high bidder are under any further obligation to complete the transaction. In the event that your bid is less than the reserve price, the message "Reserve Not Met" will be displayed next to the current bid value for that item. However, if your maximum bid meets or exceeds the reserve price, it will automatically be incremented to match the reserve price and the message "Reserve Price Met" will be displayed next to the current bid.

All auctions close at 11:59:59 PM on Monday, November 15, 1999. The system will not accept bids after that time.

The system will update the current bid value each time that a new bid is made and post the high bidder's initials. In the event that you are outbid by someone for an item you are still interested in, you *may* continue to resubmit higher bids until the specified deadline.
WINNING BID NOTIFICATION
After the posted deadline, the high bidders will be notified by e-mail with detailed instructions for payment and shipping.

PAYMENT
If you are notified of any winning bids, payment in full by check or money order must be received in U.S. funds for all of your winning bids before they will be shipped.

Payment must be received within 2 weeks of notificication (3 weeks for overseas winners), or your winning bids will be forfeited to the next-highest bidder.

Bidding is based on the honor system, so if you do not honor your winning bids, it penalizes the person who placed the next highest bid. Failure to follow through on winning bids will automatically disqualify you from participating in any future ¡Niƒty Music! auctions, unless you contact us within two weeks of notification with a *valid* reason.
